We used to have a coffee maker. In fact, we've had several. We've had the ones that make the pots of coffee and the ones where only one cup was made at a time. All were nice for a while, but if you know me at all, I'm horrible at guessing measurements of coffee to put into the filter and always made it REALLY strong or REALLY weak. So we got a Keurig Mini. It's good if only one person in your house drinks coffee and that person only has one cup a day, a small, regular size cup.
My husband and I love our coffee. And we love big cups. I'm talking cups that are a 2 in 1 type thing. I couldn't use those with the mini maker. They wouldn't even fit under the dispenser! I had to make a cup and pour it into my big mug, fill up the little cup again, pour it in the back, dispense, then pour it into my big mug again. Such a pain to do.
The Keurig 2.0 K250 came and it was like the heavens shining down on this coffee loving household. I literally sang when I opened the box (as you can see here). I immediately started to read the instructions and got it set up.
The water reserve is so nice! It has a filter that comes with it which is awesome because we have such hard water and it always ruined the other coffee makers if we didn't clean them in time. The Keurig will also tell us when it needs the filter changed or if it needs descaled. I'm so horrible at remembering to do those things so it's nice to have a reminder (it even says when it needs water which is kind of obvious because the reserve is clear and you can see, but sometimes ya need that extra reminder).
I can make my big cups without having to transfer from one cup to another! I just change the K-Cup and hit brew again after it heats up! Depending though, like if I want to add a lot of cream, or if I'm making an iced coffee, I can use my big cup and just adjust the ounces that need to be dispensed on the screen.
I'm so happy with the Keurig 2.0 K250! If you love coffee then you should really look into getting one of these. It's not huge either. We found a nice spot for it on our counter and it's out of the way so we aren't constantly moving it to get around.
